I've made this a couple of times & we really enjoy the flavor blend. I accept used stale basil rather than fresh, skipped the cloves, marinated overnight, then cooked in tedious cooker. Overnice combination of flavors for sure!! Thanks for the recipe.

My fiancce & I decided to have Christmas alone this year so we fired upwardly the grill and LOVED this recipe! I didn't have whole cloves on hand so I used ground cloves and mixed it with the other ingredients - worked perfectly! If your grill tends to get too hot or juices from the turkey sparks flames in the grill, try propping the lid open up a small amount with a Rubber pair of tongs to allow a lilliputian air in - it volition non dry out the turkey. Never prepared turkey other than on Thanksgiving & this was truly astonishing. Looking for side dishes? Try the Squash/Onion/Pecan recipe. Or the Cranberry Rice and/or Canned Cranberry with Toasted Cinnamon Pecans recipes! I believe it may satisfy ANY pallet! Footnote: endeavor to marinate it as long every bit possible. I could but marinate for about an hour, still can simply imagine what its like marinated for a few more! (BTW- If you cant "grill" it, preheat oven to 350 F. Place a frying pan on med-hi, cascade marinade and meat in pan and cook for about v minutes each side to "sear". Pour remaining marinade and the breast/cutlets in a shallow baking dish & cover with foil. Broil for about 20-thirty minutes. And then tender AND juicy!)
Admittedly delicious! I made just a few changes based on other's reviews. I used cinamon instead of cloves, I added some paprika and ground cumin to the rub which I loved! I marinated this in the fridge for several hours and and then I seared each side in a pan with the marinate. I and so poured the marinade over the entire turkey and broiled in the oven for the appropriate time. AMAZING!! My nine month old devoured this, as did my married man and I! I will be using this marinade for Thanksgiving!
Wow--crazy delicious. I used breast tenderloin turkey which is a bang-up lean cut. I substituted peppercorns for the cloves (both for taste and convenience), maple syrup for the brownish sugar (because I was out of sugar) and blood-red vino vinegar for the lemon, every bit another reviewer suggested. I marinated the turkey for only 2 hours and baked it instead of grilling, right in the dish they marinated in, on nigh 375, turning one time or twice and cooking til a tiny flake brown on the outside and no longer pinkish in the middle. My hubby and I had it the first night equally a main dish with a salad, the next mean solar day for tiffin on a turkey and swiss sandwich, and the day after that on turkey wraps (lettuce, cheese, ranch, tortillas). Y'all'd think I'd be turkey'ed out, but I could swallow it over again today if there was any left...

The combination of flavors in this is incredible. Since our grill was covered in water ice and snow, we used the advice of a few others and "broiled" it and then baked information technology.. This didn't work out so well for the amount of turkey we had. It was juicy inside but verrrry dry within. I cooked but two turkey breasts (about 1/2 pound each). Making it over again tonight, and we volition non broil. Tiresome cooker or just baking it is the manner to get.

This was very good. I used two turkey boneless breast tenderloins and cooked them on the George Forman at 325 for 15 minutes. I skipped the cloves and marinated the breasts in a food saver for eight hours. OH And then GOOD. My husband is VERY picky and he raved about this i. Definitely a keeper.
Really delish. I had a 3pm breast and I doubled the rub and the marinade. Saved 1 portion of marinade to baste with. Yum yum yum. Took a littlenmorenthan 40 min on the grill just well worth it! Brand certain y'all have bread or something to sop up the juices!

Really easy and good. Used stale basil (no fresh) and just sprinkled the spices (used garlic powder) over the turkey, marinated and broiled at 350 until 170 degrees. Will make again.
This is really good. Instead of rubbing on the ingredients, I just threw everything in a ziploc handbag and marinated for near an hour. I also baked it at 350. Reduced the soy sauce by half and marinated overnight. Used a stovetop grillpan and these came out wonderful! Flavorful and juicy, although I am glad I reduced the soy sauce. Next time I might add a petty ginger to the marinade. Very overnice to accept a not-Thanksgiving style turkey recipe. This 1 is a keeper!

One bite of this, however, and the ham was left on the serving platter, and the turkey was devoured. Great for cold turkey sandwiches, too! This has become a family favorite. Excellent recipe! I used cloves and cinnamon, ruby wine vinegar, lots of garlic, and basil and thyme-fresh from the garden. I doubled the marinade recipe and marinaded for 8 hours. This was fabulous--we cooked on the rotisserie on the grill.

Very adept. I marinated mine for well-nigh 18 hours. I was using wild turkey so I wanted to let the marinade sink in a little more. I doubled the dark-brown saccharide and garlic, but turned out very flavorful and even my wife (not into wild game at all) took a bite and said it was delicious.

We don't take a grill, and so I followed someone's suggestion to cook at 350F for 75 minutes. I dumped the rest of the marinade over the turkey and cooked it-basting at virtually halfway. It turned out perfectly juicy within and tasty outside.

This is quite a good recipe! The only changes I made were to substitute dried basil for fresh and ground cloves for whole ones. It had a unique but pleasing flavor, and while information technology wasn't the about outstanding turkey I've e'er had, I'd definitely make it again.

I fixed this for my family today & anybody thought information technology was delicious! I cooked it exactly by the recipe except I placed it in the oven for two hours @ 350 degrees! I removed most of the marinade only left a few tablespoons to mix with the gravy once the turkey was finished. The turkey literally just brutal apart once we took the netting off! Ane thing I wasn't sure of was if I should exit the garlic cloves in while cooking and I did, perfect! I wouldn't say it was a potent nor suttle flavor, but perfect! I'll employ this over again with the turkey.

This recipe is FANTASTIC! I decided to have Thanksgiving in July and made this Marinated Turkey Breast recipe (along with Bister'southward Super Stuffing and Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole both from this site). I had virtually 2 1/ii lbs of turkey chest and I doubled the rub and marinade because I like strong flavors. I also marinated the turkey breast for a little less than 24 hours. I too doubled the marinade and added it to the blistering dish so I could drip and have some to spoon over the finished production. Unbelievable, moist and juicy. i found this odd, merely might try with a diffrent meat since we use the grill alot.
I marinated our 9-ten lb. turkey in this sauce, and broiled it in advance in an oven roasting bag with the sauce. Information technology came out great! In that location was then little white meat on the turkey, though, that my husband went out to go just a turkey breast. We marinated it in all the turkey juices (left over from the kickoff turkey) overnight, cuz I just wasn't going to cook another affair that night! The turkey got rave reviews from the 5 Chinese students and researchers who came over for Thanksgiving dinner, and I fifty-fifty sent the recipe home with the one woman who didn't speak English language - through a translater, nosotros learned she wanted to learn to brand it herself, not take home any leftovers. We'll definitely employ this recipe once again - maybe on the grill sometime. Oh - I was going to put the whole cloves in the marinade, only I forgot, and it was still neat. My begetter is a wild turkey hunter and I have several wild turkey breasts that I wasn't certain what to exercise with. This is a great recipe. I marinated the breasts and then cooked them in my rotisserie using a basket. Top Notch, will use this recipe over and over over again.

This was a very easy mix. I actually merely mixed all the ingredients together, without doing the rub on the meat or putting the cloves in the meat, and liked it better than when I followed the recipe every bit is the first time. Still great flavors including the clove
I used turkey tenderloins. I did not accept fresh basil, then I used poultry seasoning and Italian seasonings, and kept everything else the aforementioned. I broiled them until the temp was 180. A definate keeper, moist and flavorful!
